			<description>Merv Eastgate - Shipmate crossed the bar peacefully today at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. Merv was a long serving Greenie of the RAN and joined the RAN in 1949 as a recruit in the electrical branch. He eventually paid off in April 1964 as a PO Electrician after having served in numerous bases and ships. He also served at Maralinga and Woomera. He suffered severely in his latter years and was also a ex Voyager shipmate as well as HMAS Vengance and HMAS Melbourne. His favourite saying was &quot;D04  ...</description>

			<description>FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS



It is with sadness that I advise the passing of Lieutenant Commander Robert (Bob) M. Moule - 42003. Served in HMAS Voyager D04 and attended the last reunion. He went to Vietnam on Hobart (March to September 1967) and Torrens (February to March 1972). Bob was in the first intake of apprentices to attend HMAS Nirimba.



Bob suddenly passed away peacefully at home at Kuranda Qld this morning, 7th May 2009. 



He is survived by his wife Kaye and his two daughters.

Died: 9 NOV 08



Vince served in the RAN for 11 years and saw active service in Korea between 3 JUN 53 and 12 FEB 54 in HMAS Tobruk. He paid off as a Chief Radio Electrical Mechanic in 1961.

It is with deepest sympathies that we honour the passing of another Voyager.

OWTON STUART (Mother) DUNN crossed the bar last Wednesday 25/6/2008 aged 83. He was a WW2 Navy man and served in HMAS Voyager II and was the stokers messdeck kellick on HMAS Quiberon as well as several other Ship's and Shore Establishments.

 

STU joined the RAN in 1943 and served for 31 years paying off as a CPO, after which he moved to Brisbane.

It is with sad feelings that I post this message having known Louie since joining the RAN in the late 50's.



Louie crossed the bar on 1-3-2008 at 1650 hrs. I am sure I speak on behalf of all ex RAN and ex Voyager people in passing on our deepest sympathies to Louie's Wife Fran and the entire family and friends.
