Irene and I extend our condolences to Sam Porter and family on behalf of all Voyagers over the recent loss of a much beloved wife.
On the 8th January 2011 Stanley (Sam) Porter's wife Maureen passed away in the Gold Coast Hospital.
Sam as he was known in Pussers to everyone served in HMAS Voyager as well as other ships and bases during his Naval career and was also a Voyager survivor.
May Maureen rest eternally at peace in God's care.
It is unfortunate that Sam does not have Internet access and Email so can only be contacted by snail mail or Telephone.
