Hello everyone and a big thank you to all those who attended the Reunion in Brisbane over the weekend of 12th/13th February.

The Saturday evening was an excellent success and everyone enjoyed the three course meal supplied by the very friendly and helpful staff of the Pineapple Hotel in Kangaroo Point. Katy and her functions staff where ever helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. The reverend of St. Mary's Anglican Church attended as a guest along with Commander Lachlan King RAN, Senior Officer commanding Queensland and our guest of Honour was Rear Admiral Rothesay Swan AO, CBE, RAN (Retd) and wife Margaret.

Our extra special cake decorated to mark the Centenary of the RAN (Officially July 2011) was large enough to feed all on the Saturday and the Sunday with a large portion still remaining.

Many photos are in process of being setup to add to the Website photo gallery and I will have them up during the coming week. I also plan to add a gallery album of photos of the Voyager Memorial Service held at the Seat in King's Park Perth on the 10th. Photo's courtesy of Peter Flockhart, NAA WA Division.

The Sunday Memorial Service at St. Mary's was supported by the local cadets and the RAN Band. A big thank you to Paul Cannard for all his support and supplies of necessary items to assist with the Service. To CPOMUSN Andrew Stapleton and the RAN Band a big BZ for the support they provided and the excellent support to the Church Service.

An ex Voyager crewman and now as Fr. John Brooker along with Fr. Bill Pearson in attendance with Fr. Stephen Redhead (Rector of St. Mary's) many thanks for their officiating role and the blessing of the HMAS Voyager Memorial flag and plaque. The Voyager memorial flag now hangs permanently in the Warrior Altar of the Church. Everyone is welcome to call in and view the Church, Altar and the well setup memorabilia display.

I have approached Channel 7 in an attempt to obtain a copy on DVD of the Video coverage they provided on the church Service. That along with many photos will be compiled into a DVD for anyone interested.

Once again the committee pass along our word of thanks to all who attended helping to make this Reunion such a success.

Regards to all
Les Sheehan
