Sadly I post another entry for a ex Voyager shipmate. TREVOR MORTIMER TAIT: Service Number - R/50253 : Dob - 29/1/1937 BRISBANE QLD
Nicknamed Mort or Lofty (Yes, he was a Greenie)
Ships and Bases - Cerberus, Arunta, Penguin, Moreton, Voyager 6/2/57-19/9/57, Melbourne 57/58,
Enlisted in pussers 29/1/1955 and DEE 28/1/61
Mort crossed the Bar in Lismore Base Hospital at 10.30 last Sunday, 28th. August, 2011 agee 74 years.
If anyone can supply a photo of lofty please send it to me (Les Sheehan) via email so as to add it to this entry.
