HMAS Voyager All Crews reunion 2011

The HMAS Voyager all Crews reunion is now official and will be in Brisbane on the 12th/13th February 2011. The venue is limited due to the short time to arrange for the event following the the cancellation of the planned event in WA for 2011. Where it is being held in Brisbane has a total head count of 160 persons so many will miss out and no doubt be disappointed. We sincerely apologise for this and hope the next reunion will have a longer period for planning and cater for greater numbers.
Numerous information and booking sheets have been mailed out following earlier mail-outs of information and calls for donation support of the memorial flag costs. A big thank you to all who sent in donations and it has also provided the means of having a large cast bronze plaque manufactured for the Sunday service at Saint Mary's Anglican Church, Kangaroo Point, Brisbane. Many emails failed on delivery as a result of people not providing us with updates/changes to their email address. If you are in this situation then please supply your current email address to allow the database to be kept up to date.

The flag will hang permanently over the Warriors' Altar of the Church after the blessing ceremony and above the plaque to HMAS Voyager and crew. We should have many photos to add to the Website following the weekend event so, for all those who cannot be their you will be able to catch up on the events via the photographic story and all going well a DVD.

The weekend event will also be celebrating the RAN Centenary although a little early (officially July 2011)

If you had intentions of attending the reunion in Brisbane on the 12th/13th then your definite confirmation and payment must be with Graham Burns by Thursday evening 20th Jan otherwise we will not be able to cater for your attendance.
