Vale - Alan (Spike) Clive Jones (HMAS Voyager survivor)

We pay our respects to yet another HMAS Voyager survivor who crossed the bar Tuesday 27th August 2019.

Spike joined the RAN in 1962 as a recruit (Engineering branch) and discharged in 1965 as a ME.

Our condolences to Spikes family and Wife Carolyn, Son Tony and daughter Kylie and family friends.
Spike was born in Wondai (Qld) and enlisted in the RAN 9th March 1962.

He served in the following HMA Ships and bases:
HMAS Cerberus,HMAS Gascoyne,HMAS Barcoo,HMAS Sydney,HMAS Voyager,HMAS Albatross and HMAS Penguin.

The service for Alan will be held at
Albany Creek Memorial Park
400 Albany Creek Rd,
Bridgeman Downs
QLD 4035
Tuesday 3rd September at 3:00 pm
Jacket, Tie and medals optional.

May Alan (Spike) rest eternally at peace in God's Kingdom.
