Anzac Day

Great to catch up with Rick Hannan and Graham Broom at the march and re-union at Twin Towns.
Beautiful weather and, as usual, being a "greenie" I was the only one in step with the pipe band.
Hope the rest of you all had as good a day as I did

Excellent day enjoyed by all and definitely one of the largest gatherings I have seen in Brisbane for an ANZAC day. Huge crowds and groups marching seemd to go on for ever. Many ventured down to the New Farm RSL and enjoyed a pleasant midday meal and afternoon chat with old mates and a few ale's.

Sandgate RSL also enjoyed an excellent turn-up for the ANZAC service and gathering at the Memorial Shrine then afterwards at the RSL for a pleasant gathering and exchange of yarns.
