Sadly, I have to post this for the loss of another Voyager shipmate. Wayne Maher crossed the bar on Sunday, 19th December 2010 and the service for our shipmate was held in the Chapel, Wallsend on 22nd December 2010.
Our sincere condolences on behalf of all Voyagers to Wayne's wife, Wendy and family.
Wayne joined the RAN as a Seaman in July 1958 from Sydney and D'ee July 1967.
During his period of service he had time at sea on HMA Ships, Quickmatch, Voyager, Melbourne and Duchess as well as time in the following bases, Cerberus, Watson, Creswell and Waterhen.
