Ronald Noel Clarke ex HMAS Voyager and survivor crossed the bar on 20th August 2016 in the Atherton Hospital aged 72 years young.

On behalf of the greater Naval community I pass on condolences to his family and friends on their sad and recent loss.

Ron was a ABUC on Voyager in late 63/64. 
He was born in Atherton, Nth Qld in November 1943 and entered the RAN from Brisbane.
Ron's o/n was R/577xx (just to keep it a little anon)

Ron served in many ships and establishments during his long Naval career.
HMA Ships and Bases : Cerberus, Watson, Quickmatch, Swan, Sydney, Warrego, Yarra, Voyager (survivor), Watson, Stuart, Yarra, Waterhen, Hobart, Waterhen, Yarra. 

Farewell shipmate, may you enjoy smooth seas across Neptunes kingdom and calm winds on your final voyage.

Following information supplied by James Carroll ex CPOWTR and currently Vice President of the Malanda RSL Sub Branch.
It is with regret that I advise the passing of VOYAGER survivor Ron CLARKE Sunday 20AUG16 at Atherton Hospital Far North Queensland.
Funeral arrangements are not known at this stage.
