Dear Les,

So lovely to hear from you and thank you so much for your kind words about Dad.

His RAN number was P33729, and he served in the FESR, too. In Malaya.

He was born 19 April 1930 in Warrnambool, and died at 8.40am on November 2, 2019 at John Fawkner Hospital, after living with cancer for just over 3 years. His wife, Val, predeceased him by 25 years and he missed her every day.

Dad was enormously proud of his RAN days, and made lifelong friends from his shipmates.

May he have fair winds and following seas in eternity.

Sincerely,
Sandra
